Some of Britain’s leading supermarkets have made a pledge to reduce food and drink waste by a fifth by 2025 according to this article in The Guardian.
A number of actors from local authorities to retailers including Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco have recently committed to the voluntary Courtauld 2025 agreement (an initiative led by the Waste and Resources Action Programme (Wrap) to reduce food and drink waste.
