The British Biochar Foundation is inviting people to sign up to its website. Details as follows. Our aim is to provide a place for developers, producers, enthusiasts and anyone else who is interested, to come together to share knowledge, experience, ideas and contacts and to act as a platform and catalyst for the emerging biochar industry.
At present the topic of biochar still causes some controversy and there remain important information gaps and uncertainties - as with any emerging sector. We plan to engage fully with these debates and welcome membership or just participation by biochar sceptics as well as enthusiasts. Let’s see if we can find a better, more sustainable, way forwards by taking criticism of the biochar concept seriously, try to resolve issues and put safeguards in place where we can’t.
