Within the IPCC’s Working Group III report, various approaches to reducing agricultural greenhouse gas emissions and increasing farmer’s resistance to food insecurity and climate change were identified. Of the two main themes discussed, one centered on the need to increase conservation and climate smart agricultural production techniques, and the other urged a shift in consumption and waste patterns.
