The Innocent drinks company claims to have become the first company in the world to package its drinks into 100% recycled plastic bottles. Four of its product lines are packaged in 100% recycled PET and the plan is to roll it out to all products by January 2008.
The company says that the new bottles use 20% fewer materials (they are lighter) and have led to a 55% reduction in carbon emissions associated with their manufacture.
