Run by the UK Government Cabinet Office Strategy Unit, this project examines current and emerging trends in the production and consumption of food, the key drivers of those trends and the implications for the wider economy, society and the environment.
It is looking at the opportunities and challenges facing the food system, including issues such as diet's contribution to public health, food safety, changing consumer tastes and preferences, and environmental sustainability.
