FAO has released a step-by-step approach to situation appraisal and programme design for nutrition-sensitive agriculture. With its emphasis on operational questions and considerations, it is intended to provide programme planners with practical tools.
The report expands on the 10 Key Recommendations for Improving Nutrition through Agriculture previously established through the FAO, the Agriculture-to-Nutrition Community of Practice (Ag2Nut), and other resources. Stakeholder input as well as results of field testing were included prior to publication, and used to refine the suggested questions, information sources, and tips.
