Empirical Research on the Path of Circular Agriculture: A survey in Xibaidian Village of Pinggu District in Beijing Hao Li, Zhou Liandi, Lei Shuxia, Liu Zhiguo.
This paper is by FCRN member Hao Li and it explores efforts being made in one village on the outskirts of Beijing to adopt the principles of Circular (i.e. sustainable) agriculture. Features of the village include household level biogas digesters (for cooking), sewage treatment; solar lamps. The paper outlines proposals for extending the Circular agriculture concept further through the development of various possible models.
