This paper (Brenton P, Edwards-Jones G, Jensen M F (2009). Carbon Labelling and Low-income Country Exports: A Review of the Development Issues Development Policy Review, 2009, 27 (3): 243-267) looks at emerging carbon labelling activities and gives a very useful overview of some of the complexities involved in reaching accurate figures.
It looks at the potential impact of carbon labelling schemes and at how they might be affected by/and even benefit from these schemes.
