This report, "Bad Habits and Hard Choices", looks at people's attitudes to ethical consumption and concludes that people already feel they have access to a fair amount of environmental information and that they are prepared to pay for a more sustainable way of living provided the additional margin is seen to be fair.
More importantly this report finds car use is the exception - their ’right’ to the car is seen to be a special case and non negotiable.
