Masters Student seeks privately-owned non-agricultural fields & gardens in Oxfordshire for research

Date
Oxford

Researcher's description (via James Burrow, a Masters student at the University of Oxford):

I am currently a MSc student with the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. I am interested in privately owned non-agricultural small fields and large gardens within Oxfordshire and their value for wildlife. As part of my project, I would like to conduct ~30-minute interviews of people who either own or manage these patches of land. I would like to understand how individuals choose to manage their land, and the motivations behind these choices. Having worked as a gardener for properties such as these previously, I am aware of the vast array of possible management choices, and implications for nature. I am able to travel anywhere within Oxfordshire.  All interviews are strictly confidential and anonymous, and this study has ethics approval. Further information will be provided on enquiry.

Please let me know you are willing to spare any time, or have any potentially useful information. I can be contacted by email at james.burrows@hertford.ox.ac.uk.

Please forward this message to any potential interviewees or other useful contacts you have!
