Every day, we're the voice of around 47,000 British farmers and growers who produce food, making sure their concerns are heard at the heart of government both online and locally. This means developing strong relationships with everyone from NFU colleagues to government ministers. So, as well as having a high profile in both the media and Westminster, we work with and support local members through a network of regional and county offices across England and Wales.
Working within our Communications team involves dealing with the media, running our social media accounts and lobbying MPs, to connecting with NFU members through magazines, our website and at meetings, everything we do is about communicating the NFU’s views effectively. About the role:
To work as part of the NFU's campaigns team to develop & deliver campaigns across digital & social platforms as well as events that support the NFU's policy and lobbying work on behalf of 55,000 members and raises the profile of British food and farming to a public and political audience.
The NFU is looking for an enthusiastic and creative team player who can think outside the box to create content for social, digital, magazines and events. You need a proven track record in developing innovative campaign content that grabs attention and have good organisation skills and the ability to deliver campaigns to challenging deadlines working closely with team members.
