You will work with us on the topic of "Sustainability Assessment of Diets." As part of the FEAST project, you will support the team in data research, harmonization, and analysis concerning the environmental, social, and health impacts of various foods and diets.
At the same time, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the working methods of our department and engage with organic agriculture. During the internship, we will define an independent project assignment for you to work on. Ideally, you will conclude your internship with a contribution to a journal or conference.
 

Duration & Start date

6 months (for B.Sc. or M.Sc. graduates), April 1, 2025, or as agreed
 

Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., agricultural or environmental sciences, ecotrophology, food technology) or in computer science/data science is required. Applicants should have an interest in data analysis, modeling, and research in the field of sustainable and healthy diets. Experience in working with data and conducting quantitative analyses is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python or experience with life cycle assessment is an advantage. Fluency in English is mandatory, while good German skills are desirable, and French skills are a plus.
