TABLE is for everyone with an interest in food. Acting as an interface between the worlds of research and practice, our work reflects and interrogates real and relevant food system debates, and we are in constant dialogue with people working within the food system, including civil society, policy makers, advocates and practitioners.

TABLE was set up as a collaboration between the University of Oxford, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and Wageningen University and Research. This initial collaboration  has now grown to include Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Cornell CALS. With this expansion to America, we seek to deepen the exploration of how debates and understandings of the food systems are informed by the geographical and regional specificities of culture, landscape and experience.

To celebrate this expansion, we would like to invite you to TABLE’s launch event in Colombia (MESA: Debates sobre el futuro de la alimentación). We will use this first TABLE/MESA event to bring actors together from across the Colombian food system to discuss their visions for the future of food and agriculture in Colombia, drawing upon their unique values, experiences and perspectives. Where is the Colombian food system now, and where could and should it be going?

This is a hybrid event, involving both in person and online participants. Zoom streaming will benefit from simultaneous English-Spanish translation.

If you wish to register as an English-speaking participant, follow this link and choose "English" from the dropdown menu on the registration.
