As the multi-university ‘Interdisciplinary Food Systems Teaching and Learning’  IFSTAL programme launches its tenth year, our focus will be on future food systems challenges. Hear from Professor Christina Vogel, Director of the Centre for Food Policy at City St Georges, University of London who will talk on "Why do food policies fail?"   followed by  Dr Carrie Bradshaw, Lecturer in Law at the University of Leeds and co-author of the recent report on Food waste in the UK who will talk on Food, waste and the role of law

 The event will be hosted and introduced by Dr Hannah Bargawi Director of Teaching and Learning at SOAS.

There will be the opportunity for food system stakeholders and students to network at a drinks reception after the lecture.  It will also give you the opportunity to talk to the IFSTAL team about opportunities to partner with IFSTAL in the future.
