We are pleased to welcome you to our #IFADiNNovationTalk no.17 in partnership with the Global Alliance for the Future of Food!
This IFAD Innovation Talk will explore ground-breaking innovations and strategies to transform global food systems and delve into how bold philanthropic partnerships and investments can be mobilized for systems change within the context of the SDGs. Leading representatives from foundations and philanthropic organizations will discuss how they are using partnership and investment strategies to better leverage resources and rigorously focus on getting proven results to end hunger, achieve food security, and ensure climate resilience.
The event will aim to answer the following questions:
- Can philanthropy live up to the challenge of increasing and shifting financing for food systems? What are the challenges and/or opportunities?
- How can a shift in partnership and investment modalities innovate philanthropic practices that lead to the transformation of food systems?
- How can philanthropy complement traditional efforts to help countries in the financing of their food systems investment strategies?
