Wise up on Waste is the name of a new mobile app from Unilever that was launched recently to assist professional restaurant and catering kitchens to monitor and track their food waste.
The app will help users to identify when the most food waste is generated and it will also calculate the cost saving that a 20% reduction of food waste would imply. To read more and download the app, click here.
Love Food Hate Waste has also launched a waste app that allows you to keep track of food planning, shopping, cooking meals and making the most of leftovers. It includes recipes and ideas and tips for how to use leftovers. The app is available for both iphone and Android.
