About the Centre for Food Policy
The Centre for Food Policy at City St George’s, University of London, is a leading interdisciplinary centre focused on shaping effective food systems. The Research Assistant will contribute to the “Joined up landscapes” project, co-led by Dr Christian Reynolds and Dr Christopher Yap, aiming to enhance climate change adaptation through Nature-Based Solutions.
About the role
The Research Assistant will support rapid qualitative research with diverse stakeholders, alongside the broader research team. The post will also help to organise and facilitate participatory workshops to evaluate and prioritise Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) strategies.
The successful candidate has completed a Master’s degree and may be close to completing a PhD, in a field relevant to food systems, public health, geography or agriculture. They possess strong knowledge of qualitative and participatory research methods, and have experience engaging with stakeholders across various sectors. Proven skills in qualitative data collection and analysis and the ability to translate research findings into policy recommendations are essential.
