Breakfast cereal manufacturer, General Mills, has published it latest Corporate Social Responsibility report. It shows that the company achieved a 6% reduction in emissions from its 2005 baseline but short of the 15% goal it had hoped to achieve.
The company states that it "fell short, in part, because consumer demand has grown for more products – such as cereal and granola bars – that require cooking or toasting (which requires more energy)."
