Wageningen University & Research is seeking an Officer Research Programming Networks to contribute to coordination, management, and implementation of intergovernmental initiatives and public research programming networks as well as overall promotion of joint programming principles and achievements.
In particular, the role will focus on the Joint Programming Initiative on agriculture, food security and climate FACCE JPI, the ERA-NET Cofund on monitoring and mitigation of greenhouse gases from agri- and silviculture ERA-GAS, Food Systems and Climate FOSC, the European Joint Programme on agricultural soil management EJP SOIL partnership, and in shaping new partnerships such as on agroecology and on sustainable food systems.
Candidates should have a passion for international networks in the domains of healthy food and living environment, a PhD in life sciences or social sciences, broad general knowledge of some scientific areas of the Wageningen UR research domains such as climate research, food systems, biotechnologies, agricultural economics, human geography, political sciences, agrotechnology, ecology and biodiversity, and the capacity to analyse and structure information.
