About the role:

You will develop your research and teaching involving working with key stakeholders and policyholders to translate food production advances from animal sources or alternatives currently in the research phase or implementing transformative food system solutions at population level. Bristol Veterinary School is seeking to appoint this new post, potentially in a research area not traditionally associated with veterinary sciences, to work closely with existing expertise in the School (animal nutrition, livestock production systems, animal welfare, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, data science) and build new synergistic collaborations across the University (e.g. in economics, policy studies and sociology; politics and international studies; climate and health, human nutrition and crop sciences). A case for joint position with a relevant school can be discussed. The role is to provide leadership in research and education in this globally important area.
