We would like your views on proposals for a licensing scheme for the application of nitrogen from livestock manures.
Current requirements are set out in the Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2021. We are consulting on:
- a proposal to introduce a licensing scheme to be operational from April 2023 until 2025
- the design of the proposed licensing scheme and the conditions attached to licenses.
