Can seafood keep you and the planet healthy? Can it help you feed your family affordably? How do you cook it?
Come and find out at #SeafoodMattersUK! Our interactive demonstrations and panels include:
- ‘Come Dine with Cat’ – Food educator Catriona Frankitti will run her workshop where children and adults become seafood explorers, discovering new flavours and the health benefits of eating seafood.
- ‘Masterchef: Fish School’ – Forth Valley College and food bank Start-Up Stirling challenge their student chefs to come up with tasty meals using the lesser-known, cheap and nutritious seafood products that can be found in supermarkets.
- ‘Blue Fashion: don’t just eat seafood…wear it!’ William Anderton (University of Stirling) shows you how we can reduce food waste while helping the planet.
- ‘Seafood dinners for 99p per person: nutritionally and environmentally sound and tasty.’ by Amy McGoohan, University of Edinburgh.
