The OpenAg Symposium 2023: Food Futures in a Changing Climate, will be held on 6 October at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. The event is organised and hosted by the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development (OICSD) in partnership with UPL, one of the leading suppliers of sustainable agriculture products & solutions.
Across three panels, the event will explore the potential of enhancing resilience to foster sustainable food systems and an equitable future for farmers. Subjects covered throughout the conference will include the meaning of resilience across agricultural stakeholders, the relationship between farmers' wellbeing and shock resistance, and an examination of how policy reform can promote resilient, sustainable farming. Each panel will feature a mix of guests from academia, policy, industry, and NGOs moderated by a global expert.
