The three-year LIFE Climate Smart Chefs project, which started in January 2022, is coordinated by Barilla Foundation with the participation of important Italian and international partners (ALMA - The International School of Culinary ArtsENAIP NETJAMK UniversityNutritics). It aims to contribute to the development and implementation of the EU Climate Policy and the Farm to Fork (F2F) Strategy by actively involving European chefs as promoters of low emission, nutritious and affordable diets, and to promote a mainstream debate on food as a key factor for climate change mitigation.

The online webinar 'How can chefs help to save the planet? Discover the Life Climate Smart Chefs project' will take place on Tue 24 May 2022 at 16:00 CEST on Zoom. The webinar will share the initial results of the project on mapping of best practices and chefs' needs analysis, and a report containing recommendations for chefs and chefs’ training on sustainability will be presented. Also, interesting examples from the restaurant sector through case studies will be provided.
